Timeframe: Dec. 2007 - Apr. 2009
When ATI Technologies was acquiried by AMD in the fall of 2007, the responsibilities in dealing with this client evolved, as well. Throughout this relationship, I offered the following services:
Account/Project Management
While our team remained intact post-acquisition, I enjoyed working with a larger group of individuals on the client side; dealing with local Toronto-based representatives, those stationed in the home office of Austin, Texas or reps beyond, internationally. Throughout this phase, I helped guide and prepare ongoing product registration projects, as well as the implementation of sitewide customer service options. This required an ability to foresee any strategic and technical scope creep that could emerge and arming both sides with the data and timeframe necessary to avoid it.
Design
I was also able to work with the AMD brand, operating within the company’s presentation guidelines and helping to provide a consistent user experience for the target audience. This came in the development of registration collateral and customer-facing form-based solutions, ensuring a simple and pleasant experience that was part and parcel in keeping with the integrity and high expectation of the AMD name.
Programming
Tasked with not only the design, but also the composition of documents presented to the target consumer, I programmed the requisite materials in HTML, CSS, and Javascript in keeping with current web standards. The resulting work was a bridge between the browser and global database, creating materials that flowed efficiently for the end-user while seamlessly tying together the data submitted to the required destinations.
